Where do Conservatives get the ridiculous idea that Bush should get credit for OBL's Death?

Perhaps Fox news broadcast it wrong? I can't imagine why they would think that Bush had an iota of responsibility for the brave decision to kill Obama. Bush took his eye off the ball and went into a war for WMD's that did not exist. There is no evidence that Bush had anything to do with his death but there are apparently many ignorant people out there who do....are these the same ones who said Bush kept us safe....yet 9/11 happened on his watch?
