If conservatives distrust gov/politicians why do they believe everything Republican politicians tell them?

Two parts gullibility and two parts brainwashed. Left wing radio is not too popular in the U.S. for a few reasons. First, liberals don't need to be told how to think day in and day out. Second, most of us listen to FM radio, and only tune into to AM to get the weather report. Republicans are told what and how to think, and it's usually to the chime of God is a Conservative, and taking care of the needy is pure evil. They will go on and on about how they hate terrorism. But they pay no mind as long as they're right winged terrorist like the ones Reagan loved.
