Which is worse – 5,000 US soldiers die in Iraq or 200,000+ innocent Iraqis die for no reason?

I see a lot of talk about the amount of American soldiers that died in Iraq, but hey, they volunteered (most after knowing it was based on a lie). Why should the voluntary aggressors be viewed with more pity than the kids that died in US air raids to find WMD's that weren't there?
