Implanon birth control concerns. please help?

So my bc is implanon. The hormone implant in my arm. Anyways the first couple months ur period will be irregular and what not and later ur period might stop. This bc is to prevent pregnancy for 3 yrs. After i had gotten it i discovered if u keep it in longer than 3 yrs u can become infertile. I have had it for almost a year now and it has been hell. I was nearly having my period every two weeks if not 3 times a month. I called the doctors and they said its normal the first yr... But im scared that i wont be able to have kids even if i take it out earlier... Im going to get checked to see if i still can and to possible take this out. What do u think about all this? Does or has anyone else had this bc. And do u know about womens birth rates of sucess after taking ir out?
