Pro's and Con's of birth control pills? Can it really make someone infertile? and other questions?

Im 18 and I have been with my boyfriend, who is 19, for about 4 years. We have been having sex for about 3 years. We use the pull out method, its worked so far because I havent been pregnant. But now both of our parents are insisting that I get on birth control pills. Either that or use condoms, but I dont want condoms because it would make me feel like there is a barrier between me and my boyfriend. So what are some good and bad stuff that happens from the use of birth control pills? I have heard that they can make a female infertile. Also if I get on the pill can my boyfriend 'finish in me'? Could I still get pregnant if he did?
